“Music has a grammar, which, although modified from time to time, is of continual help and value as a kind of dictionary.” –Kandinsky, 1914
i don’t know why or even what exactly is the feeling but i was kind of moved when i saw this… i thought—wow, music connects people across cultures, geographies and other borders. it’s quite cool to see how different strangers can work to put together an amazing piece of music like this and the efforts of the people behind this project—to really go all out to make this happen, it must’ve been really tedious. wanna do something connecting people really.
“When from a long distance past nothing subsists, after the people are dead, after the things are broken and scattered, still, alone, more fragile, but with more vitality, more unsubstantial, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long time, like souls, ready to remind us, waiting and hoping for their moment, amid the ruins of all the rest; and bear unfaltering, in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence, the vast structure of recollection.”
